FAITH Catholic School successfully opens F2F classes

The campus once again came alive as close to 1,500 FAITH Catholic School learners from pre-school to senior high school trooped back to campus on 08 August 2022.

For the first time in two years since the global pandemic was declared, students will once again experience face-to-face classes. Arnold I. Catapang, principal of  FAITH Catholic School said “We are all excited to welcome back the students to campus. In the last two years of full online classes, our teachers are more than glad to be reunited with their students, while others will be seeing their students for the first time.”

Mr. Catapang said that for the first semester, there will be three days of in-person classes, while the rest of the days are devoted to online and asynchronous classes. “We would like to start cautiously to give students, parents, and faculty enough time to adjust and get used to this set-up at least for the first two grading periods of SY2022-2023.”

Mr. Catapang added that in the last two years of full online classes, the school took advantage of the unintended “break” to upgrade facilities like classrooms, equipment, laboratories, and school grounds. Teachers continued undergoing faculty development programs. “Most important, we made sure that all health protocols are put in place and follow the minimum standards of the IATF and LGU. We are also proud to say that our academic community—administrative staff and teachers—are 100% fully vaccinated,” Mr. Catapang shared.

Meanwhile, more than 1,500 more students are expected to come to campus when the FAITH  Fidelis Senior High starts its classes on 15 August 2022.
